BK182L Boss Kit Ford XG Ute 1993 - 1996
Our vehicle specific steering wheel hubs and boss kits allow you to install a SAAS Steering Wheel to your vehicle, in addition to other wheels with a 6 hole 70mm or 74mm PCD.
Fitment Notes:
A number of XG Utes were fitted with the steering column from the XF Fairmont. In these cases, the BK182L will be too long and potentially foul against the screws on the indicator cancellation assembly. Please see image below. In these situations, we recommend using the BK151L boss kit.
Further, in very rare cases, the XG may have a column from a XE Falcon installed. These can be identified by the use of a small plastic extension between the OE wheel hub and the column. In these cases, use a BK132L boss kit though it should be noted, this is not a common application.
Unfortunately, there isn't a clear relationship between vehicle identification and columns used which does make hub selection difficult.
