HANS IV represents a leap forward in head and neck restraint technology, designed to cater to the needs of both professional and entry-level drivers.
Building on the success of its predecessors, HANS IV introduces a lightweight composite design, shedding nearly 70 grams compared to previous models. Its integrated pad system ensures a secure fit and eliminates the risk of belt slippage, enhancing comfort and safety in the heat of competition.
The HANS IV is the fourth generation of the trusted injection-molded polymer Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) device. The HANS IV is offered in three different sizes, includes helmet anchors, and checks in 10% lighter than the previous Hans III.
Updates include improved harness retention so belts will not slip and custom molded pads that nest into the device to prevent pad slippage.
The HANS IV is offered in a 20-degree angle design and includes three different anchor options, Post Anchor (standard), Quick Click (SFI only), and M61 which is sold separately. The HANS IV is SFI 38.1 and FIA 8858 certified allowing drivers to use it worldwide.
